Many a dA artist has been down that road. But I think you have to remember it degrades your work and essentially you're "letting them win".

I don't know why people copy an image without giving credit, it bothers me every time I see it on reddit and tumblr (which is everyday). I try to tell people credit and source, but most people don't seem to care.

Ironically, when you retrospectively add obtrusive watermarks to your deviations it's the people who linked here and used the official share links that are punished. This makes it less likely the posts that actually credited you will get popular, while the uncredited content remains unhindered.

Anyway thanks for removing the boxy dA mark.
